The Centre “Intensive” was founded in October 2001. The University administration made the decision to found this unit taking into consideration the necessity of training highly qualified economists, managers and lawyers who can speak foreign languages fluently. The university hired the best specialists in the field of intensive language teaching. The teaching staff of the center has excellent experience in foreign languages teaching using the method of accelerative foreign languages teaching developed by the academician G.Kytaygorodskaya.

 ▪  The centre offers its programs to schoolchildren, applicants for entry, students and businessmen. The groups are formed on the basis of entry tests by the applicants for the language programs.

 ▪ The Centre offers the following language programs:

•  different communicative programs for beginners (0,0+),  for low intermediate and intermediate (A1, A2, B1), upper intermediate and advanced  students (B2, C1, C2)
•  specialized programs (study/ internship/ work abroad) – training of students wishing to get international language certificates
- English (PET, KET, TOEFL, IELTS, FCE);
- German (DaF, DSH,ZOP, KDS, GDS, Goete-Institute);
- French (DELF, DALF).

▪ The students with good command of English (B2, C1, C2) can further develop their communicative skills at business courses, taught by the professors from Great Britain, Germany, Italy:
English:
- Job interview;
- Effective presentation;
- Effective socializing;
- Effective negotiation;
- Effective telephoning;
- Effective meetings
German:
- Bürokommunikation, Bürotechnik
Italian:
- Introduzione alla corrispondenza commerciale

▪In the Centre “Intensive” students have a chance:
•  to learn English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Swedish, Turkish, Arabic, Ukrainian and Russian on the specialized programs: from 7 days (immersion course) to 2 years;
•  to test their knowledge of English or of any other foreign language;
• to get a Certificate on the course completion.
