Kyiv Technical School of Radioelectronics was established on the basis of Kyiv Technical School of Electromechanics of Railway Transport by the order of the Council of Ministers of USSR of December 28, 1951 № 5389-2346. It was subordinated to the Ministry of Aircraft Industry of USSR and renamed in Kyiv Technical School of Electromechanics.
By the order of Kyiv Council of National Economy of April 20, 1962 № 154 Kyiv Technical School of Electromechanics was renamed in Kyiv Technical School of Radioelectronics of the Ministry of Radio Industry of USSR.
In 2004 Kyiv Technical School of Radioelectronics was renamed in Kyiv College of Information Systems and Technologies of Kyiv National University of Economics and became a part of the university as a structural unit with the delegated authority of financial and economic activity
The main task of the educational establishment is to organize educational activity encompassing teaching, methodic and cultural work. Activity of the college meets the main guidelines of the law of Ukraine “About Education”, the main concepts of which are stated in the national program “Education of Ukraine in the 21st century”.
The College is a higher educational establishment of the 1st level of accreditation.
Our college trains young specialists in the following specializations:
- design, production and technical maintenance of electronic technologies;
- design, production and technical maintenance of radio-technical devises;
- programming of computers and of computerized systems;
- use of information processing systems;
- commercial activity;
- economy of enterprises.
About 1000 students study in full time programs. The college has created favourable conditions for the preparation of highly qualified specialists. New technologies of teaching have been implemented in the teaching process, which includes wide use of computers.
The college has a good library collection with modern technical literature.
Our graduates can continue their studies in Kyiv National Economic University in the bachelor’s program.
