The college trains young specialists in full-time and part-time programs. It is also offered by instruction by correspondence:
On the basis of the 11th form:
“Business Economics”: duration of the program – 1 year and 10 months.
On the basis of the 9th form:
“Accounting”: duration of the program – 2 years and 10 months;
“Operation of computer and intellectual systems and network”: duration of the program – 3 years and 10 months;
“Social work”: duration of the program – 3 years and 6 months;
“Operation and maintenance of the equipment of oil and gas wells”: duration of the program – 3 years and 10 months;
“Production of refractory non-metal and silicate materials and products”: duration of the program – 3 years and 8 months;
“Operation and maintenance of the machinery at the enterprises of construction materials”: duration of the program – 3 years and 10 months.

 The history of Romny college dates back to 1900, when the Romny municipal administration established a demonstration workshop which was later transformed into the School of Ceramics.
1930  - the School of Ceramics was transformed into Glynsk Faience Technical School.
1947 - Glynsk Industrial Technical School.
1966  - Glynsk Industrial Technical School was transformed in Romny Industrial Technical School and moved from the town Glynsk to the town of Romny of Sumskiy Region.
1994 -  Romny Industrial Technical School and Romny Evening Technical School of Radioelectronic equipment were liquidated and

Romny Polytechnic School was established on their basis.
In accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine № 541 of 19.09.2005 Romny Polytechnic School was transformed into Romny College and became a unit of Kyiv National Economic University.

Young specialists are trained for planning, economic, managerial and financial activity in the field of economics at manufacturing enterprises, in the service sphere, at construction and oil-and-gas enterprises in accordance with their professional specialization.
